By Divine Desperation

Distraction as a healing mechanism
Distraction from the science
Of misguided sympathies
Distraction that doesn’t always mean the whole game
Distraction from the bludgeons of humility
Distraction from the grave prognosis casually
Distraction from the flashing lights
And the end of days

I was missing in action
Lost in your wake
Drowning in the sorrow
Of transcendental emptiness
A fractured prism of light
A hurricane in the air
A molten iron core
Juiced by divine desperation

Meher Baba Meher Baba Meher Baba Meher Baba
Meher Baba Meher Baba Meher Baba
